2022 Sydney Writers’ Festival at Hawkesbury Central Library

Christian White’s debut novel, The Nowhere Child was one of Australia's bestselling debut novels and his second book, The Wife and the Widow, was published in 2019 and became an instant bestseller. Clickbait, a television series Christian co created, was released by Netflix in 2021 and went straight to number-one in 41 countries.
The setting of his third novel Wild Place is modelled on the area of the Mornington Peninsular where he grew up. Hear Christian discuss Wild Place, a thriller that peels back the layers of suburbia, exposing what’s hidden underneath. He also attempts to answer the question: why do good people do bad things?
