Get prepared for severe weather

19 August 2022

NSW SESThe NSW SES is warning communities across NSW to be prepared for heightened risks of severe weather in the coming months.

This week the Bureau of Meteorology issued a La Niña Alert, as their three-month climate outlook shows a high chance of above-average rainfall for most of the eastern two-thirds of the Australian mainland between September and November 2022.

The chance of La Niña forming in the coming months has increased to around 70%.
