Community Hub catch ups are back for 2022

Let’s get together again to catch up with friends, neighbours and the Community Hubs team from Council before summer ends!

Come and find out what the Community Hubs can offer you and tell us what you’d like from your Hub!

Our new ‘Bright Ideas’ community development workers will be there too, keen to hear about your ideas for community initiatives you would like to see in 2022 and beyond to help build community resilience.

  • Wilberforce       Wednesday, 23 February, 4pm to 7pm (with Feature Creatures Reptile Show)
  • Colo Heights     Thursday, 24 February, 4pm to 7pm (with Mistry Ridge Animal Farm)
  • St Albans          Friday, 25 February, 4pm to 7pm (with Feature Creatures Reptile Show)

There will be refreshments available; the Community Nursery will be on hand for native plant advice and farm or native animals for the young or young at heart to meet.

Bright Ideas to Build Resilience is a community development project to support community and community groups in disaster affected areas start small community projects and support community groups in those areas. The Bright Ideas to Build Resilience project is supported by Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network (NBMPHN) as part of the Australian Government’s response to the 2019/20 bushfires. Wentworth Healthcare is the provider of NBMPHN.
