Free plants to celebrate World Rainforest Day

Rainforest DayTo celebrate World Rainforest Day June 22, 2022, the Hawkesbury Community Nursery is excited to offer the first 50 people the chance to:

  • buy 5 rainforest plants and get 5 plants free on Wednesday, 22 June and Saturday, 2 July 2022 (forestry tube size).

These plant communities are amazing places and act as a natural air conditioner for our wildlife such as koalas, sugar gliders and even fish and humans.

The Hawkesbury Community Nursery is predominantly a volunteer run nursery that propagates and sells Hawkesbury native plants. The Nursery is located at 10 Mulgrave Road, Mulgrave, next door to the Hawkesbury Companion Animal Shelter.

It is open to the public Wednesdays from 9am to 1pm or by appointment, and on the 1st Saturday of the month 9am to midday (excluding December and January).
