Get wormed up for spring!

31 August 2022

KIDS Wormfarming - Compost tomatoesJust in time for spring, you can sign your kids up to do ‘It’s a Wormy World!’ – a free face-to-face school holiday worm farm workshop for Hawkesbury kids: Preschool and Kindergarten to Year 6.

Have you ever wanted to give composting or worm farming a go? Are you keen to create 100% organic fertiliser products to maximise your garden's health and beauty?

Compost and worm farms allow you to harvest and return the valuable nutrients from food waste back into your very own garden, while significantly reducing the volume of waste being sent to landfill.

Participants will learn the ins and outs of how to set up, maintain and troubleshoot a compost bin and worm farm.

A polystyrene upcycled worm farm will even be awarded to one lucky attendee!
