Have your say on North Richmond Community Centre redevelopment

24 April 2024

North Richmond Community Centre imageThe North Richmond Community Centre, which is a pivotal hub for community life west of the Hawkesbury River, is set to be redeveloped using funding from the NSW Government.

Hawkesbury City Council wants to know how you would like to use this new community centre, and what services and programs you would like it to offer, so that architects can create the best design for everyone, with the community in mind.

It is a quick online survey of eight questions at www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au or direct link www.yourhawkesbury-yoursay.com.au/north-richmond-community-precinct that will be open until 5pm on Friday, 17 May 2024.

The redevelopment of the North Richmond Community Centre will serve as a meeting and cultural space, social and recreational hub, and an emergency evacuation centre.

Plans include a new library, performing arts space, indoor sports stadium, and outdoor space improvements.

The redevelopment project will be funded through the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program. The Program will see $2 billion worth of transformational infrastructure delivered across Western Sydney.
