Paper Scissors Rock explores the contemporary use of ‘paper’, through diverse media including sculpture and installation, video, drawing, painting, collage, photography, and jewellery.

Paper is at once ordinary and precious.  In the hands of creative and inquisitive minds, it can be simply extraordinary. Visit the gallery and view the work of some extraordinary contemporary artists.

The exhibition artists are Jumaadi, Tony Albert, Peter Burke, Tracey Clement, Anna Davern, Todd Fuller, Deborah Kelly, David Lawrey and Jaki Middleton, Mylyn Nguyen, Niomi Sands, Louise Paramor, Sangeeta Sandrasegar, Jemima Wyman, Zoe Veness and Tianli Zu.

The exhibition is accompanied by Cardboard Place, a cost-free drop-in makerspace that is dedicated to all things cardboard and paper. At Cardboard Place, young creatives can make crowns, explore colouring, or let their imagination run wild by adding to the box world installation!
