Men’s Shed donates ‘kissing booth’ to Animal Shelter

9 February 2024

Animal Shelter - Kissing BoothKiss kiss, Valentines Day is sure to be special this year at the Hawkesbury Companion Animal Shelter.

Hawkesbury Valley Men’s Shed volunteers have been creative and built a ‘kissing booth’ for the Hawkesbury Companion Animal Shelter in Mulgrave.

The kissing booth will be the ‘purrfect’ place to take special photos of cats and dogs in the Shelter, so that people can see their softer side.  Animals in shelters often get overlooked, so anything that shows their loving personalities is another chance to help them get adopted.

At the Shelter, you will have the chance to see a range of friendly dogs and cats or go online to see photos at the adoption photo gallery at www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au/for-residents/animals-and-pets/animal-shelter

For opening hours and more information, visit www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au and click on the Shelter link or call 4560 4644.

The Shelter is open every day of the week and is located at 10 Mulgrave Road, Mulgrave, next to the Hawkesbury Community Nursery.

Animal Shelter - Kissing Booth - Men's Shed volunteers and Rob WainhouseHawkesbury City Council thanks the Hawkesbury Valley Men’s Shed for their time, effort and generosity in creating the kissing booth.
