
Apply for Council’s community sponsorship program funding

Community groups and individuals can apply for the second round of funding under Hawkesbury City Council’s Community Sponsorship Program which is open for applications from 1 March to 31 March 2025.
Individuals selected to represent Hawkesbury in sporting or cultural events can apply for participation support, while community groups may be eligible for either discounted venue hire costs or for funding of programs that support a connected, healthy, resilient and inclusive Hawkesbury.
Why apply for sponsorship?
Hawkesbury City Council’s community sponsorship program can assist community groups and individuals to achieve success, which in turn helps us build a connected, healthy, inclusive and resilient Hawkesbury. The three categories of funding available are:
Participation in sporting or cultural events
Hawkesbury residents who have been selected to represent the Hawkesbury in state, national, or international sporting competitions or cultural events can apply for $150 for individuals and $750 for a team of five or more.
Access to Community Facilities
Not-for-profit Hawkesbury community groups can apply for a subsidy of 50% off the cost of hiring a Council or community facility up to a maximum contribution of $750.
Resilient Hawkesbury
Council may provide funding to community programs that help to build a connected, healthy, inclusive and resilient Hawkesbury. Maximum funding available is $3000 per application.

Applications open on 1 March 2025 and close on 31 March 2025.
