Concept Plans for Tamplin Field Redevelopment now available for feedback

Artist Impression of Tamplin FieldThe concept plans for the redevelopment of Tamplin Field in Hobartville are now available to view, and we want the community to have your say.

Currently a vibrant hub for rugby league, little athletics, school sports, and personal fitness, Tamplin Field is set to undergo a transformative redevelopment that will elevate its facilities, while preserving its community spirit.

Thanks to $9.795 million in funding from the NSW Government under the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants program, the redevelopment proposes to include,

  • Upgrade the oval to be a 400m competition turf running track with eight (8) lanes, including a 100m straight track with ten (10) lanes.
  • Integrated natural turf sporting field with field events area for shot put, discuss, long jump and javelin
  • New multi-use courts
  • Reconstruction of amenities building with tiered seating
  • New play space and fitness station
  • Car parking
  • Paths, irrigation and drainage
  • Social gathering spaces (including BBQs and seating)

The Tamplin Field concept plans will be on public exhibition on from Monday, 30 June to Sunday 27 July 2025.
