Have your say on Kemsley Park land release at Redbank

Council is publicly exhibiting the Kemsley Park Planning Proposal (LEP002/24) which seeks to expand the Redbank Estate at North Richmond, and we want the community to Have Your Say.

Prepared by GLN Planning Pty Ltd on behalf of Redbank Communities, the proposal aims to amend the Hawkesbury Local Environmental Plan 2012 to enable the delivery of approximately 300-350 new dwellings.

The proposed amendments include rezoning the site at 322 Grose Vale Road, Grose Vale from RU4 Primary Production Small Lots to:

• R2 Low Density Residential
• R5 Large Lot Residential
• RE1 Public Recreation
• Introduction of smaller lot sizes, ranging from 375m² to 1,500m²
• Inclusion of dual occupancy provisions via updates to the Additional Permitted Use
• Designation of the subject site within the Urban Release Area Map
• Provision for essential drainage infrastructure and public open space.

The Planning Proposal is supported by a suite of technical studies, including assessments of bushfire and flooding risks, infrastructure servicing, heritage, and environmental impacts. These documents are available for public review on Council’s www.yourhawkesbury.yoursay.com.au website and at Council’s Administration Building.

Community members are encouraged to Have Your Say during the public exhibition period which ends on 26 August 2025.
